Layers application.
You can use layers for complex diagramming, charts, floor-plans or for other purposes.
In this lesson we will guide you on how to create a floor plan with communications using layers.
It will be a lot easier to work with only one communication type at a time, so we will draw each communication type on a separate layer. Thanks to this we will be able to disable layers with different communication types.

Download a sample file
We have a layer for the floor plan and separate layers for electric system, water pipes and sewing system. You can use different colors for each communication type. We used red for electric system, blue for water pipes and violet for sewing system.
If you need to see the whole picture of communications you just need to make all layers visible. And if you find a plan with all communications at once difficult to understand you can disable the layers with unnecessary communications.

Without communications.
