ConceptDraw Project 3 is released!
ConceptDraw Project 3 provides a new redesigned intuitive interface and the addition of critical path management. There have been added task filtering and sorting and other handy features to the products capabilities in order to make project planning process more effective.
A big advantage to Macintosh users is that the new version is universal binary application and runs natively on all Intel-based Macintosh computers.

Tips and Tricks
Resources and tasks Assignment in ConceptDraw Project
- To add resources you should switch from the GanttChart view to the Resource Sheet window. For this use Resource Sheet in menu View.
Tip: You can press the icon
on the toolbar or press Ctr+Alt+R keys combination.
- Use Add Resource in menu Workspace. The new resource will be added to the resource sheet.
Tip: You can press the icon
to add resources or the icon
to delete resources.
- Fill in the following fields: Name, Type, Cost, Group, E-mail, Note.
- Switch to the GanttChart view. For this use GanttChart in menu View.
Tip: You can press the icon
on the toolbar.
- Select the task which the resource will be assigned to.
- Open the floating dialog Assign Resources (located on the right part of the screen) and denote employment degree in percentage for resources occupied in the task fulfillment.
- Press OK to apply changes.
Tip: Resources names will be displayed near the task on the GanttChart diagram.

- Use the support function of design tasks in ConceptDraw MINDMAP 4 for designating a stage in which there is a process of studying a theme.
- Have a look at your map. If needs be, make changes or additions.
- For convenience of reading and storing your material, print out your map.
- Read aloud and try to reproduce the map from memory.
