CS Odessa reveals ConceptDraw Lab project

This week CS Odessa has launched ConceptDraw Lab project - a combination of corporate blog, new products marketplace and discussion forum. In the context of ConceptDraw Lab there are planned periodic releases of freeware utilities developed by CS Odessa engineers, publishing of the latest news and articles on products, company and technology.

The first product developed for free download on the ConceptDraw Lab is a iCalGTD Mac OS X Dashboard widget that partially implements the popular “Getting Things Done” time management system. The free widget integrates with any GTD software via iCal.

The second product is "Call In Time" - another Mac OS X Dashboard widget that detects place you are calling to and, what is more important, its local time. To make widget not only convenient, but also pleasant to use, we added some nice animation (sun, moon, sunset, dawn).

1. Right, Left, Up, Down – moving across the topics and subtopics
2. Space + moving the mouse – Hand mode
3. Shift + wheel - scrolling horizontally

5. DnD (drag and drop) + Сtrl – copying
6. Shift + Right/ Left/ Up/ Down/ key – moving the selected object
7. DnD +Shift – moving the selected object horizontally or vertically
8. Shift + Resize (Angle) – disproportional Resize
9. Shit + Resize (middle) – proportional Resize
10. Attach objects to definite place beside the Topic – holding the mouse for several seconds at a place where the object is going to be placed. (Dragging and dropping of an object to the Topic with immediate mouse release will result in the object jump away.)

That there is a flexible system for creating reports in our program ConceptDraw Project 3.
Reports are broken down into four groups, which noticeably simplify working on them: overview, costs, assignments, and current activities.

Overview - reviews the state of your projects.

Costs - reports on the costs, giving information about the costs for the tasks or resources used over a certain period of time.

Assignment - reports on resources giving a list of all the resources and selected tasks in which they are being used.

Current Activities - reports on tasks showing their condition at various stages of realization:
tasks which haven’t been started, those which haven’t been completed, completed tasks and productivity over a certain period of time, etc…
