How to Add a Concept Map to a PowerPoint Presentation
A Concept map includes concepts, usually enclosed in circles or boxes of some type, and relationships between concepts indicated by a connecting line linking two concepts. ConceptDraw PRO allows you to build Concept Maps easily using the Concept Map solution. The PowerPoint presentation of major concept map points and can be very informative and helpful.
- Run ConceptDraw STORE, select the Concept Maps solution from "Diagrams" area and click Install.
- Open a ConceptDraw PRO new document and select the Concept Map library.
- Add a central Concept map object to the document page by dragging it from the library.
- Add the related objects and connect them to the center concept using Direct Connector tool
. To connect elements using this tool, drag the connector from one connect dot to another.
- Select object or connector and press F5 (Mac), F2 (Win) to add a text.
- Use Line, Fill, Shadow to format diagram objects.
- You can create a multi-paged concept map using the context menu of Page Navigator (View menu).
- Export your multi page diagram as an MS PowerPoint® presentation using the Export option from the File menu.
Result: A PowerPoint presentation of a concept map can be used as a learning and teaching technique.
