Network DiagramsNetwork Diagram

 • With ConceptDraw DIAGRAM you can create network diagram using specialized libraries of network components such as computers, hubs, smart connectors etc. that simulate network design topologies and devices, network architectures.
 • The software includes CISCO specific diagrams shape library.
 • With ConceptDraw DIAGRAM you can draw detailed network diagram where you can visually show the way the network equipment is logically and physically connected and arranged in a room, office, building.
 • You can create a complex diagram that consists of different Concept Draw diagrams, each with specified level of detail, connected by hyperlinks.

You can easily connect network topology shapes by using smart connectors that can be visually attached to library shapes. Once you have joined the device and connector your device remains connected even if you want to move it somewhere.

You can store data, such as network name and IP address, manufacturers, product number, serial number, price and other information with the shapes. This information can be used in ConceptDraw Basic scripting language for automatic calculations.

Also you can use ConceptDraw Basic scripting language for receiving up-to-date information from manufactory's databases.

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM makes it easy to share your network design diagram with others in a business presentation or on the web.

Directory services diagrams

With directory services templates in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM you can:

 • Draw and design new directories, visually changing the structure of already existing ones.
 • Using the design of the directory structure you can easily change location of all your network components, plan, update, and migrate programs.

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM has all necessary Active Directory Sites and Service shapes, Directory connectors to show the links between domains, sites, and services on the network. These shapes are designed for use in planning a directory or network, or for planning distribution and replication of information among different servers at different sites.

An Overlay network is a computer network that is built on the top of another network. The nodes of the overlay network are connected by virtual or logical links. Overlay networks are widely used in telecommunication. They also allow to improve Internet routing. Using the solutions of the Computer and Networks Area for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM with wide set of ready-to-use predesigned vector stencils and examples you can design anyone overlay networks quick and easy.Overlay networks.
Computer and Network Examples *

Communication via Internet nowadays is almost irreplaceable part of lifestyle. It’s needless to say that providing that communication is not a piece of cake, and network diagram software is useful for representing all the interconnections between network devices. These diagrams are also helpful for educational purposes. This drawing depicts the network topology of the sample web studio. This is a physical type of network diagram. It is depicting the network, end-user equipment and connections between them. The given network has combined the both star and mesh network topology features. This diagram is a tool of network administrator. it delivers the actual information on location of servers, hubs, switches, routers, and other telecommunication equipment. The collection of network related symbols provided with ConceptDraw Network Diagrams solution represents the entire network components. All Symbols are standard. Therefore, network specialists can effortlessly decrypt this diagram.Network Diagram Software

Working with information can be quite tedious, furthermore, some data can be quite difficult to perceive without any graphic representation. So, to facilitate your work, you can use business diagrams, such as simple flowcharts or Gantt charts for project management and orgcharts for clarifying your company structure. You can use a proper software, like ConceptDraw Pro, draw them on paper, or use whiteboards, but it is more convenient to use a digital tool. This diagram shows a cross-functional flowchart that was made fore telecom service provider. A workflow of a common telecommunication service provider has a rather branched structure. Thus, it is useful to have a flow chart to visualize the sequences and interrelations of the work flow steps. Business process flowchart contains 17 processes and 4 decision points, that are distributed through 2 lines depicting the participants involved. Also there are connectors that show the data flow within processes. This flowchart displays a detailed model of the telecom service trading process, as well as all participants in the process and how they interact with each other.Business diagrams & Org Charts with ConceptDraw DIAGRAM *

Creating a detailed network plan can cause a lot of headache to an unexperienced user. And it is worth mentioning that ConceptDraw DIAGRAM is a decent tool for creating a network diagram, a tool that is easy-to-use. To get an accurate diagram use the vector shapes from the special libraries that represent workstations, network appliances, wiring systems and connect them with smart-connectors, just as simple as that. This communication network diagram displays the way different components of a computer network communicate with each other. When representing network information, such as depicting all the equipment in a large network, it is helpful to make visual representation. Network diagram provides an easy way to show the way the connections between an equipment in a large network. This diagram of a communication network depicts a network composed of three sub-networks. It uses a network equipment symbols to represent the different devices that make up a network communication including routers, Ethernet devices and end-point equipment.ConceptDraw DIAGRAM
Network Diagram Tool *

It’s not easy to plan all the details of your landscape at once. Therefore, you can use a bubble diagram to create a draft of the future project. You can develop any bubble diagrams and use them in your landscape design project with ConceptDraw DIAGRAM and it’s predesigned templates. This bubble diagram can be applied while initiating the development of garden and landscape design. The bubble diagrams used for this purpose are different from the classic bubble diagrams. Being used in landscape and garden design, they obtain the quite another understanding. Bubbles in this diagram visualize some captured areas, which define the general spaces of a future garden: lawn, flower garden, pool, built-up area, lighting, etc. The bubble diagram represents the landscape project without any special expenses on its creation. It is better to make such simple sketch before you drill down into detailed project and cost estimates.Bubble diagrams in Landscape Design with ConceptDraw DIAGRAM

When describing any computer network, we imagine a set of devices and nodes, arranged in some way. Talking about network structures, we should distinguish physical and logical network topologies, as physical topology is about devices location and logical topology illustrates data flow. In the same time, they do not have to match, and some devices, such as repeaters, may have a physical star layout, but a bus logical topology. There are two main types of computer network topologies: Physical topology that show the physical organization of a network - equipment and types of connections. Star network topology involves a set of devices that is connected to a single hub (router). Ring network topology means that, devices connected according this topology have two connections, connecting with nearby devices to make a loop. Bus network topology is the topology presented at the current diagram. It is similar to a ring topology. The difference is that data moves up and down a linear connection, copying itself where network equipment works as bus-stations along the way. This network topology can be used for small network, or when adding an extra device into a network.Network Topologies
