Sustainable Energy

The population of our planet rises and for this reason, the energy demand also steadily increases. The use of fossil fuels causes harmful emissions to the environment. Therefore, modern research, innovations, and the use of sustainable sources of energy are required to supply energy and at the same time protect our planet from climate change. Currently, renewable energy sources have already supplied 26% of the world’s electricity. Over time, this amount and the number of renewable and sustainable energy sources will increase to satisfy the rising power demand. This will have one more positive effect — the fault of prices on green energy and cut the electricity bills.

What is the Difference Between Renewable Energy and Sustainable Energy?

Sustainable energy is obtained from sources that fulfill the current energy needs of people without compromising future generations, and without putting energy sources in danger to be depleted. It is a significant point of sustainability as a whole. Because there is a difference between renewable sources and sustainable sources. Not all renewable energy sources are sustainable. Sustainable energy does not cause any harm to the environment and helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, sustainable energy sources are replenishable, they are available steadily, in plenty, and for free cost.

Why is Sustainability Energy Important?

Sustainable energy helps to resolve the energy crisis and has an important value through its environmental impact. It ensures clearness of nature, there are no harmful emissions into the atmosphere, no greenhouse gasses or other pollutants are emitted.

What are Examples of Sustainable Energy?

Sustainable energy supposes the use of sustainable energy resources. The energy derives from clean and renewable sources that do not threaten the energy needs and climate of future generations. It includes solar, wind, hydropower, and tidal energy. Bioenergy taken from biological masses and geothermal energy from Earth’s internal energy sources are also considered sustainable. The sun, wind, rain, and tides are inexhaustible sources, they will be always. Therefore, they are ideal energy sources. Sunlight and wind are the most abundant and freely available sources of clean energy. At the same time, the efficiency of sustainable sources depends on various factors such as climate, location, and other factors. Moreover, being generated, collected, and stored, sustainable energy should be obligatorily distributed.

The Sustainable Energy samples you see on this page were created in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM software using the management tools of the Sustainable Development Solution. These examples successfully demonstrate solution's capabilities and the professional results you can achieve using it. An experienced user spent 10-20 minutes creating every of these samples.

Use management tools of the Sustainable Development solution to design your own Sustainable Development Infographics quick, easy and effective.

All source documents are vector graphic documents. They are available for reviewing, modifying, or converting to a variety of formats (PDF file, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and many other graphic formats) from the ConceptDraw STORE. The Sustainable Development Solution is available for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM users.
