Wind Power
The wind is one of the most powerful and efficient sustainable, clean and renewable energy sources. It has a large history and is one of the oldest energy sources. The wind is an abundant and inexhaustible renewable source that will never run out and provides electricity without burning any fuel or polluting the air.
Wind power is the energy gained from the wind, which can reach 3-5 meters per second. Along with solar, wind is one the cheapest forms of new-generation electricity. Wind power is converted from the energy produced by the wind turbine blades, which move driven by the wind. Wind farms include many wind turbines, each of which is connected to the electric power transmission network and contributes to a whole flow of electrical power. When the wind is too strong, turbines automatically slow the rotors.

Different kinds of turbines are used for different purposes:
- Residential small turbines are installed on short towers.
- Small commercial-scale turbines produce sufficient power for small businesses.
- Commercial onsite energy wind turbines produce commercial amounts of power for larger facilities and municipal public loads.
- Large commercial or industrial wind turbines suit well for large onsite industrial loads and small wind farms.
- Utility-scale wind turbines are usually installed in large groups producing cost-competitive electricity for sale. Land-based utility-scale wind turbines are one of the lowest-priced energy sources.

The efficiency of a wind turbine is around 30-45%, increasing to 50% during peak wind times.
