Integrative Psychotherapy

The current situation in psychotherapy is characterized by opposition of traditional or academic approach and the huge number of schools, trends and new therapeutic approaches to the understanding of the theory and practice of this science. The integrative methodology is based on the principle of integrity, which implies the understanding of the psyche as an extremely complex, open, multilevel, self-organizing system, which has the ability to maintain itself at the state of dynamic equilibrium and generate new structures and new forms of organization. The integrative methodology starts from the opinion that human is a holistic creature, and thus is independent and capable for self-regulation and development. But the human is not unique holistic entity in the world, everything in nature has the integrity, the nature itself is holistic and is a hierarchy in which each element is a whole in relation to its parts and a part in relation to a larger whole. The Mind Map designed using the tools of ConceptDraw MINDMAP software is an interactive learning brochure that contains the topics of integrative psychotherapy with associated affirmations.
