How to Draw a Vacuum Tube Circuit

An electron tube (also known as a vacuum tube) is often used to amplify weak currents or act as a one-way valve for electric current. There are many types of electron tubes, each with its own applications. In this lesson, we are looking at the electron tube circuit that can be used as a push-pull power amplifier for the audio system.

There are many different ways to create a diagram for electronic devices including vacuum tubes. You can create it manually, but the more efficient way is to use graphic software such as ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.

Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.
Reveal the Electron Tube Circuits item in the Solutions panel.
Click the library preview to activate it in the Library panel.
Add circuit elements to the diagram by dragging them from the proper library to the document page.

Use the alignment/placement options along with the formatting tools provided in the Arrange&Size and Format panels to quickly customize your diagram appearance.

There are some libraries provided in this solution containing objects, identified by a blue tile in the library pane. Such objects can be edited by using the Action button menu. To open the menu select an object and click the button in the upper right corner of the object. You can operate actions by mouse double-click. To do this, check the "Action" box and select the type of action in the "Behaviour on Double Click" section in the Advanced panel.

Use the connector to show the connections of the electrical scheme details. Select the Smart Connector tool . To connect elements using this tool, drag the connector from one connect dot to another.
