How to Create a New Library

Sometimes, when creating a diagram, you need to use a large set of elements from different libraries. If you are using ConceptDraw DIAGRAM, in such a case, we recommend you create a new library, which consists of vector library objects from other ConceptDraw libraries. You can also add custom and unique objects to such a library. Each object that is contained in a new library can be provided with a unique description and keyword list. Thus, the new library and its objects will be indexed to be searched and used in the further diagrams.

1. Open The Libraries panel. You can use the Libraries button in the View tab.
2. Create a new Library using the context menu.

3. Drag and drop the objects you need to add to a new library panel. Name the Library and the objects using Properties items in the context menu.

4. In the context menu, choose the Save As option to save a New Library to your computer's My ConceptDraw folder.

5. The best way to access your library and other custom stuff on your computer is to use the My ConceptDraw panel in the View tab.

Result: You can create your regular drawings quickly using your custom library.
