How to Draw an Organizational Chart

Clear Organizational chart helps you to understand the relationships of positions in an organization in terms of authority and responsibility. The ability to depict an Organizational structure is supported by the Organizational Chart solution for ConceptDraw DIAGRAM. You can use the customizable template to draw the organizational structure of your company.

1. Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.
2. Find “Organizational Charts” in the Solutions panel.
3. Click the preview of Organizational Chart template.
4. Now you have a workspace and a corresponding library.

5. Arrange objects within a workspace using a mouse.
6. You can add shapes to the chart by dragging them from the library and connecting them using the Smart Connectors tool .
7. Click the shape in the organizational chart to which you want to add text and then type your text.

8. Use the Action button menu to show or hide text.

9. Use tools provided in the Format panel tools to customize your Organizational Chart.

Result: This sample diagram displays the organizational chart of the New York State Education Department. This diagram looks professional and bright, so it can be used as an illustration for public events, for example — presentations, conferences, etc.
