How to Draw a Pyramid Diagram

Pyramid diagram (triangle diagram) is used to represent data, which have hierarchy and basics. Due to the triangular form of a diagram, each pyramid section has a different width. The width of the segment shows the level of its hierarchy. Typically, the top of the pyramid is the data that are more important than the base data. A pyramid scheme can be used to show proportional and hierarchical relationships between some logically related items, such as departments within an organization, or successive elements of any process. This type of diagram is often used in marketing to display hierarchically related data, but it can be used in a variety of situations. Pyramid 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

1. To add pyramid diagram to your drawing drag and drop a pyramid shape from the Pyramid diagrams library into the document page.
2. You can add or remove levels in the pyramid using the Action Menu. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the object.

3. To change number of levels use commands Set Levels Number from the Action Menu.

4. To change level text select pyramid, then select level, and start typing.

Pyramid 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 , Isometric

1. To add isometric pyramid (3D triangle) diagram to your drawing drag and drop an isometric pyramid shape from the Pyramid diagrams library into the document page.
2. To change number of levels use commands Set Levels Number from the Action Menu.

3. You can add or remove levels in the pyramid using the Action Menu.

4. To change level text select pyramid, then select level, and start typing.

5. To change thickness of your isometric pyramid select it and move control dot in the right bottom corner of diagram.

3D Pyramid

1. To add 3D pyramid diagram to your graphic document drag and drop the diagram shape from the Pyramid diagrams library into the document page.

2. To change text in any part of the 3D pyramid diagram select the shape, then select the part of diagram, and start typing.

Funnel Diagram

1. To add funnel diagram to your graphic document drag and drop the diagram shape from the Pyramid diagrams library into the document page.

2. To change text in any part of the funnel diagram select the shape, then select the part of diagram by second mouse click, and start typing.

Triangular Diagram

1. To add triangular (triangle) diagram to your drawing drag and drop the diagram shape from the Pyramid diagrams library into the document page.

2. To change text in any part of the triangular diagram select the shape, then select the part of diagram, and start typing.

Result: Pyramid diagrams are widely used to show and analyze proportional and hierarchical relationships.
