How To Create Risk Diagram (PDPC) Using Solutions

The Risk Diagram determines the risks of potential obstacles during corrective actions and helps develop preventive actions. We recommend using ConceptDraw MINDMAP for generating structured data, and ConceptDraw DIAGRAM for presenting the results. The ability to create a Risk diagram from a mind map is supported by the Seven Management and Planning Tools solution. This solution is installed for both ConceptDraw MINDMAP and ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.

1. Run ConceptDraw STORE.
2. Discover the “Seven Management and Planning Tools” item in the Management area of the Solutions tab.
3. Click the preview of Root Cause Diagram mind map template to open it in MINDMAP.

4. Develop a mind map, containing scheduled corrective actions, risks and possible preventive actions. Apply appropriate topic types to topics represented risks and preventive actions.

5. Activate the Outputs functionality using Options (Windows), or Preferences (macOS).

6. Use Output Risk (PDPC) Diagram to create a diagram from mind map.

7. Risk diagram is generated based on the mind map structure through ConceptDraw DIAGRAM, and instantly opens in a presentation view.

Result: The Risk diagram determines the risks that corrective action may have if not performed correctly. Also, it helps work out descriptions for preventive actions at the level of execution.
