How to Create an Audit Flowchart

Financial audit is a professional inspection of financial statements of the organization and its operations. A financial audit is usually carried out by professionals who are experts in the financial statements. Financial audit process has a clear structure, and therefore audit flowchart is often used to denote an audit process. This is the most effective way of preparation and documentation of the audit process. Flowcharts are often used in auditors activity. A flowchart may be drawn at any stage of an audit process as an aid in the determination and evaluation of a client's accounting system. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM allows you to create professional audit diagrams quickly using the Audit Flowcharts solution.

1. Open a ConceptDraw DIAGRAM new document and select the Audit Flowcharts library.
2. Add flowchart symbols to the diagram by dragging them from the library to the document page.
3. The Audit Flowcharts library contains some objects, identified by a blue tile in the library pane. Such objects can be edited by using the Action button menu. To open the menu select an object and click the action button in the upper right corner of the object.

4. Connect the flowchart elements by the arrow connectors using the Smart Connector .

5. Use the Format panel to format the flowchart elements.

Result: You can quickly document an audit process flow using flowchart symbols.
