How to Draw Chemistry Structures

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM can be used as a tool for creating chemical schemes and diagrams of chemical lab set-ups and labware, formulas, reaction schemes, and molecular structures. The ability to create a chemistry charts, schemes and illustrations with ConceptDraw DIAGRAM is contained in the Chemistry solution. This solution extends ConceptDraw DIAGRAM with 6 libraries that contain more than 700 vector shapes that can be used when creating chemistry drawings.

1. Open a ConceptDraw DIAGRAM new document and select the proper library located in the Chemistry solution.
2. Add the chemical symbols to the document by dragging them from the library to the document page.
3. Use the Format panel to edit objects, text and even connectors.

4. Use the Pages panel to add a blank page to your drawing.

5. Fill the empty page with a colored rectangle using the Drawing tools panel and a Format panel.

6. Use the page context menu to put this page on a background.

7. Finally, you can export your drawing as MS PowerPoint® and Adobe PDF files using Export options from the File menu.
