How to Draw a Map of North America

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM can be used as a tool for creating maps of countries and regions of the world. It allows you to draw continental maps quickly and easily using the special templates and vector stencils libraries. For example, you can create a map of the USA. Ability to create geographical maps in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM is contained in the Continent Maps solution. This solution extends DIAGRAM with 13 libraries that contain 667 vector shapes that can be used when drawing maps of continents.

1. Run ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.
2. Reveal the Continent Maps in the Solutions panel.
3. Doubleclick the preview of North America Map template to open the template in ConceptDraw DIAGRAM.

4. Add additional elements such flags to the drawing by dragging them from the library to the document page.
5. Select a separate element on the map to add text or change color using Format panel.

6. To protect your drawing from any occasional changes, choose the Lock option in the Arrange and Size panel.

7. Now the object properties cannot be changed or removed accidentally without first being unlocked.

Result: Use geographic maps, cartograms, and thematic maps for geographical visualization of business information.
