- How do I install individual ConceptDraw products?
WIN: If you would like to install one or two applications as part of a trial, select the “Custom” Installation type. The individual product option will install the product(s) you selected.
Another way to manage downloads is using ConceptDraw STORE, which can be downloaded through the Custom Install button on the ConceptDraw site Download Product page.
MAC: All three applications that are in ConceptDraw OFFICE can be installed individually with the use of ConceptDraw STORE, which can be downloaded through the Custom Install button on the ConceptDraw site Download Product page.
- How do I run ConceptDraw PROJECT v12 on macOS 12.3 and later?
ConceptDraw OFFICE v9 suite includes ConceptDraw PROJECT v13 which uses Python 2 in its workflows. Being running on Mac it faced an issue since macOS Monterey 12.3 release brought the Python 2 removement from the pre-installed scripting languages. - How to install a ConceptDraw application to different drive and/or directory?
If you want to change the default installation location for the ConceptDraw software products it is easy to select an alternate location for installation. When the install screen “Type of installation” appears select Custom, and then in the install screen “Application(s) location” it is possible to then browse for the directory where you want to install ConceptDraw products. If you want to specify a directory to install in that has not been created, it is easy to specify the new folder by typing the folders path into the browse window. For instance “e:ConceptDraw” would build a folder named “ConceptDraw” on your E: drive and then install the ConceptDraw applications you specified.
To increase flexibility in the administration of the install process there is the opportunity to select a different location to install the ConceptDraw applications, and one can also select the location to put ConceptDraw content (ConceptDraw Solutions, templates, libraries, etc.)
- Why, after the installation is complete, ConceptDraw STORE is launched and invites me to connect with account?
It is necessary to connect with the ConceptDraw license server and synchronize ConceptDraw products you downloaded, with your account to activate purchased and trial licenses. When trialing ConceptDraw product(s) there are no limitations on printing, saving, editing, product functionality, or file size. If the product is not synchronized it will operate in demo mode only. Demo mode does not allow files to be saved. Once you have set-up your account on ConceptDraw.com the trial period starts at the moment of account registration.
- What happens if I do not connect with account after the installation finished?
If you decide to synchronize later, then ConceptDraw products operate only in demo mode. If you are conducting a trial and you decide to synchronize 2 days after your trial registration your trial period will be over in 19 days. The trial period starts at the moment of setting up an account.
An internet connection is necessary to synchronize your ConceptDraw products. Once you have connect with our ConceptDraw server, no further internet connection is necessary.
