How to Run ConceptDraw PROJECT on macOS 12.3 and Later

On 14 March 2022 Apple released the latest macOS operating system update. Along with new features and bug fixing, the macOS Monterey 12.3 brings the Python 2 removement from the pre-installed scripting languages.

ConceptDraw PROJECT vv12 and 13 use Python 2 in their workflows and therefore faced an issue when launching on Mac computers running macOS Monterey 12.3 and later. If you're using Monterey 12.3 or later, here are a few steps to help with fixing it. Follow this guide to install Python 2. It only takes a few minutes and you"ll be up and running ConceptDraw PROJECT.

Note: The Python 2 issue has been fixed with the release of ConceptDraw PROJECT v 13.1. If you own PROJECT v13, you just need to update it to get rid of this inconvenience.

Download and install Python 2.7.16.
Note: Select “macOS 64-bit installer” in the list of versions.

You should update your ConceptDrw PROJECT to version 12.1 or later.
Run ConceptDraw PROJECT.
