How to Edit Drawing Using Shadow

ConceptDraw DIAGRAM offers you a set of tools that help to edit drawings. Now can create new custom objects or modify existing ones. Add shadow effect to objects in your diagram with just a few clicks in the Format panel. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM supports two modes of shadow drawing:

1. By default the shadow is drawn under all objects, on page.

2. The shadow of every object can be drawn under the object, and it will slightly cover underlining objects.

1. Open the Format side panel, Shadow tab.
2. To change the shadow drawing rule to mode 2, uncheck “Draw shadow below all shapes” option.

3. To set the shadow offset drag the grey cross in the Offset field of the Shadow tab (macOS). In MS Windows version you need to enter the offset parameters manually.

Result: Adding a shadow to objects can create a specific effect for your drawing.
