How to Add Images to a ConceptDraw DIAGRAM Document on macOS

Using embedded pictures in diagrams and some technical drawings helps you to attract attention to certain places of the document, accent the most important details and as a result get the effect that you are expected the most. You can use any image file format supported by the DIAGRAM to insert it as a picture into your document created on macOS or Windows.

1. Open the ConceptDraw DIAGRAM document.
2. In the Insert menu, select the Picture command.

3. Locate the image file that you want to insert.
4. Double-click the picture file that you want to insert.

Once the image is in place, you can modify it as necessary. The most demanded modifications are resizing, cropping, formatting, and adding text.

1. Select an image you need to change.
2. Click the Crop tool located on the Tools Toolbar if a picture has a lot of content and you need to remove a part of it. Cropping handles appear around the selected picture. Drag a handle to crop the picture, then click the Crop button again. The image will be cropped.

3. Use the tools provided in the Format panel to add such options as border line, shadow.

4. You can use the Text tools provided in the Text panel to add and edit a text to the picture.
