How to Add Images to a ConceptDraw DIAGRAM Document on Windows

Adding images allows you to draw attention to certain elements of your drawings, emphasize important places and create more visually engaging drawings. You can use any image file format supported by DIAGRAM to insert it as a picture into your document reated on macOS or Windows.

1. Open the ConceptDraw DIAGRAM document.
2. On the Shape tab, in the Insert group, click Insert Picture.

3. Locate the image file that you want to insert.
4. Double-click the picture file that you want to insert.

Once the image is in place, you can modify it as necessary. The most demanded modifications are resizing, cropping, formatting, and adding text.

1. Select an image you need to change.
2. Click the Crop tool located in the Image Tool group if a picture has a lot of content and you need to remove a part of it. Cropping handles appear around the selected picture. Drag a handle to crop the picture, then click the Crop button again. The image will be cropped.

3. Use the tools provided in the Format panel to add such options as border line, shadow.

4. You can use the Text tools provided in the Home tab to add and edit a text to the picture.
