How to Insert a Mind Map into Microsoft Word Document

The export capability of ConceptDraw MINDMAP reveals the information in your maps to build documents of various types. ConceptDraw MINDMAP gives you the ability to export mind maps to MS Word. You can stylize the resulting document by using a custom MS Word template. If you need to use just a part of your mind map, the best way is using copy-and-paste. Using this method, you can combine a text and a piece of hierarchically structured information in a single MS Word document.

1. To export the entire mind map to MS Word document, run ConceptDraw MINDMAP and open your mind map.


2. Click the File menu and select Export.
3. Click the MS Word icon. The Export to Word window will appear. Select a proper template and click Next.


4. The new MS Word document is created from your ConceptDraw MINDMAP mind map.


5. The other way is to select and copy a part of your mind map.


6. Next, paste it into MS Word document.
7. Your mind map will be converted into text outline.

Result: Now you have a MS Word document created from ConceptDraw MINDMAP mind map.
